PURPOSE: To provide a coupling device for a heald frame for coupling a heald frame and a coupling rod which not only maintains the good coupling of the heald frame and the coupling rod but is capable of rapidly and safely coupling and uncoupling both.

CONSTITUTION: The heald frame 3 and the coupling rod 5 are respectively provided with first and second joints 1 and 4. The first and second joints 1 and 4 are provided with working surfaces extending in a direction intersecting with the moving direction of the coupling rod 5 for the purpose of coupling the coupling rod and the heald frame. The working surfaces at which the first and second joints 1 and 4 engage each other have the shapes to move along the arcuate orbit on the each other's surface in order to absorb the vibration occurring in the vertical movement of the heald frame 3 and to guide each other at the time of coupling and uncoupling of both joints 1 and 4.
