Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency in cutting both ends of a paper tube.
SOLUTION: This device comprises a conveyor 3 for intermediately conveying the paper tube 5 by two pitches of an arrangement pitch of the paper tubes, a paper tube supplying device 4 for supplying the paper tube 5 to the conveyor 3, and a pair of cutting heads 20, 20 mounted oppositely to each other through a conveying path of the paper tube 5, and each cutting head 20 has two rotating shafts 26, 26 fitted to end parts of two paper tubes stopped on the conveyor 3 in a state that they can be come in and out, for holding and rotating the paper tubes, and two sheets of cutting blades 23, 23 mounted on a face perpendicular to a shaft center of the rotating shaft 26 in a state that they can be closed to or separated from the opposite rotating shaft 26.
