PURPOSE: To make it possible to prevent occurrence of trouble due to refuse of label by pushing refuse of label having been cut off out of a plane including the surface of label material, superposing it on the surface of the label and cutting off the label from the material by means of a marking roller.
CONSTITUTION: A belt-shaped label material 2 drawn out of a feed reel 1 is led to a marking roller 4 through a plurality of rollers 3. A roller 4 includes a first roller 15 and a second roller 16, and cutting blades 17a-17l corresponding to the month of manufacture and cutting blades 18a-18c, 18a'-18c', corresponding the the beginning, middle and end of the month, are provided on the surface of the roller 15. Both the cutting rollers are opened outside a label 8 and refuse of label 5c inside notches 5a,5b is blown off from an air nozzle 33 provided in advance of a feed roller 6, pushed out toward the interior of the roller 6, folded on the outside of the label 8 by a guide plate 34 and superposed on the surface of material 2 so that the refuse is carried out together with the label material, the refuse being connected thereto, by means of a die cut roller 7.
