To provide a device capable of performing an adjustment to almost completely and invariably maintain structurally specified flex characteristics of a ski or the like in addition to an adjustment to remarkably damp the flex motion of the ski or the like by improving a device for damping the flex motion of the ski 1 or the like of a type in which a damping device 7 having two relatively movable damping members is installed and the damping device 7 is disposed on the upper surface of the ski or the like.
One of the damping member is firmly held on a first support part 2 firmly installed or installable on the ski or the lie, and the other of the damping member is connected connectably and disconnectably to the other support part 4. The other support member 4 is installed or installable to the ski or the like apart from the first support part 2 in the longitudinal direction.
