Abstract:

To provide a decoloration device capable of decoloring an edible oil used far fried foods and making possible to reuse the docolored oil.

A used and filtered edible oil is received together with a decoloring material in a tank 2 provided with a spiral vapor circuit 3 for maintaining the oil at a constant temperature and with a stirring means 5, and subsequently stirred for a prescribed time in a vacuum state for preventing the oxidation of the oil in the tank 2. The tank 2 is allowed to communicate with a vacuum device 4. The decolored oil is separated from the decoloring material with a filtration device 10 communicating with a sucking and delivering pump 13 disposed below the tank 2. Thus, the oil is decolored and purified.
