Abstract:
To provide a device for decreasing tension variation of an overhead wire, that decreases tension variation arising in an overhead wire with high precision by using a simple structure.SOLUTION: A tension variation decreasing device 14 decreases tension variation arising in an overhead wire 1 when tensile force is applied to the overhead wire 1 by a spring balancer 4. The tension variation decreasing device 14 decreases a tension variation rate of the overhead wire 1 from within a range of ±9% of standard tension to a range of ±5% compared to a conventional spring type tension balancer. The tension variation decreasing device 14 is freely removably attached to the exterior of the spring balancer 4. A tension measuring part 16 measures tension of the overhead wire 1 between the spring balancer 4 and the overhead wire 1 from the outside of the spring balancer 4. Additional tension acting parts 17A and 17B make additional tension act on the overhead wire 1. A control part 21 controls motion of the additional tension acting parts 17A and 17B on the basis of a measurement result of the tension measuring part 16, so that tension variation arising in the overhead wire 1 decreases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
