Abstract:

To provide a device for detecting an on-bed situation capable of accurately reporting an alarm according to the state of a bed.

The device 1 includes: a monitoring area setting means for setting whether or not each of a plurality of preset monitoring area candidates 6 at the peripheral end part of a bed 3 is defined as a monitoring area; a centroid position computing means for computing the centroid position of a subject H on the bed 3; and a report determination means for determining whether or not an alarm is reported on the basis of the monitoring area set by the monitoring area setting means and the centroid position computed by the centroid position computing means.
