Title:
DEVICE FOR DETECTING INSERTED SHAPE OF ENDOSCOPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1176154
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To keep a coil provided inside a slender endoscope at a certain temperature.

A tube 15c separated into at least two spaces is formed inside the probe insertion part 15a of a probe 15, and a source coil part 14i is built into one of the spaces. The two spaces in the tube 15c are connected together at the side closer to the end of the probe insertion part 15a, to cause a fluid fed into the spaces to circulate to cool the space of the tube 15c enclosing the source coil part 14i. From a fluid feed/discharge device built into an endoscope shape detection device, the fluid cooling the space in the tube 15c is fed and discharged by connecting the first end of the tube 15c to the fluid feed/discharge device via a connector 15b.
