Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily detect leak in a gasket by providing a leak detecting hole near the boundary part of a casing and a casing cover, positioned between a gasket and a seal ring, and providing a nozzle with a opening and closing plug which is attached to the leak detecting hole.
CONSTITUTION: A gasket and a O ring 8 are provided between a casing and a casing cover 4, and a leak detecting hole 9 is bored in the casing cover 4. A leak exhausting nozzle 12 is provided onto the leak detecting hole 9 on the casing cover outlet part thereof and a lens packing made of stainless steel is provided on the top end thereof. Thus, the leak in the gasket is to be detected without installing any other detecting system.
