To provide a device for detecting the lowering of tire pneumatics with a simple structure.
This device comprises wheel speed detecting means 21, 21 respectively detecting a speed of each wheel FW, RW of a vehicle during traveling, and a tire pneumatics lowering detecting means 32 for detecting the lowering of the tire pneumatics by comparing the wheel speeds vfi, vri detected by the wheel speed detecting means 21, 21 and judging whether a result ri of the comparison is within a predetermined range or not. The device further comprises an acceleration deceleration determining means 34 for determining whether the vehicle is in an accelerated state or a decelerated state on the basis of the wheel speeds vfi, vri detected by a wheel speed detecting means 32, and a first judgment forbidding means 35 for forbidding the judgment of the result of the comparison when the accelerating deceleration determining means 34 determines the accelerated state or the decelerated state.
