Abstract:
To enhance its periodic output by improving a device having a device for optically scanning a cop and an evaluating device for evaluating a scanning process, in the device for directing orientation of the cop, particularly, a spinning cop.
This problem is solved by equipping the device 12 with a light source 17, a first cylindrical lens 20, a gap orifice 22, a second cylindrical lens 30, a mirror element 27 and a photosensor 28, by arranging the device 12 in an area of a cop carrying section 9 so as to be capable of divisionally scanning the spinning cop 4 oriented in the substantially longitudinal direction for passing through the device 12.
