Title:
DEVICE FOR DETECTING PART DAMAGED BY NAIL IN CONCEALED PIPE LINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3894595
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting a part of piping for gas or water which is concealed by a concealing material like a wall plate and is broken by a nail driven from the outside of the material from the outside of the material.
SOLUTION: This device has a detecting part 15 which is moved on the surface of a concealing material for concealing a metal pipe line and a detector body 16. The detecting part 15 has a pipe detector 17 for detecting piping and a nail detector 18 for detecting a nail driven in the pipe line side from the outside of the material. The detector body 16 has an information part 20 for informing a relative position of the detecting part 15 to the pipe line by the magnitude of the detecting signal of the pipe detector 17 and judges from the magnitude of the detecting signal of the pipe detector 17 and the detecting signal of the nail detector 18 if a nail might break the pipe line or not and the information part 20 informs the presence of the nail which might break the pipe line.
