Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a device for detecting positions of hub-bolt hole which can detects the position of a hub-bolt hole even when a wheel has a different number of hub-bolt holes, a different shape of boss holes formed at the center of its wheel section, and a different bolt hole pitch.
CONSTITUTION: A wheel mounting robot system 10 is provided with a lighting system 14, wheel positioning section 20, and CCD camera 22. The lighting system 14 is provided with a reflecting plate 42 with an internal side face which randomly reflects light, light sources 46 and 48, and ground glass 50 which is arranged on a wheel W side above an enclosure 44, uniformizes the quantity of lighting light radiating the wheel W, and protects the light sources 46 and 48 and radiates the wheel W deviated by means of the wheel positioning section 20 with the lighting light. By reading the lighting light transmitted through hub-bolt holes of the wheel W, the positions of the holes are detected.
