This device also includes a controller 70 that stops the light projection by the light projecting means 53 for internal measurement and acquires an imaging result by the imaging means 52 during the illumination by the light projecting means 51 for imaging, stops the illumination by the light projecting means 51 for imaging and acquires a light receiving result by the light receiving means 54 for internal measurement during the light projection by the light projecting means 53 for internal measurement, and determines the quality of the vegetables and fruits 1 based on the imaging result by the imaging means 52 and the light receiving result by the light receiving means 54 for internal measurement.
