Title:
DEVICE FOR DEVELOPING RECORDED LATENT IMAGE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3445665
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a developing device for effectively removing the polluted material of a donor roll in a developing unit which it is not necessary to clean with respect to an electronic photograph printer.
CONSTITUTION: A device for developing a latent image recorded on the surface is provided with a housing in which an isolated chamber for storing at least a donor of toner is formed. A donor roll 4 whose at least one part is arranged in the isolated chamber of the housing, and separated with an interval from te surface is adapted for transferring toner to an area faced to the surface while rotating around a longitudinal axial line 96. Electrodes extended to a direction crossing the longitudinal axial line 96 and positioned in a space between the surface and the donor roll 40 are electrically biased so that the toner is separated from the donor roll 40. Thus, toner power clouds are formed in the space between the electrodes and the surface, and the latent image is developed by the toner separated from the toner clouds.
