Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a device for diagnosing remaining service life of oil-immersed transformers which can relatively easily diagnose the remaining service life of an oil-immersed transformer without performing gas analysis on the insulating oil sampled from the transformer.
CONSTITUTION: The device for diagnosing remaining service life of oil$ immersed transformers is provided with a first computing element which finds a temperature rise value θo at the rated capacity of an oil-immersed transformer based on the temperature data θk of the transformer operated at a prescribed load factor K and second computing element 40 which finds the operating temperature history of the transformer expressed with respect to the operating time Y against the operating temperature θ based on the operating time N at the operating load factor K, operating history data from a storing means which stores the operating history data, such as the ambient temperature θa, etc., and temperature rise value θo at the rated capacity. In addition, the device is also provided with a third computing element 50 which finds the cumulative value of operating time based on the operating temperature history and a remaining service life estimating and diagnosing section 60 which estimates the remaining service life of the transformer against the operating load factor from the difference between the previously found service life of the insulating paper or sealant of the transformer against the operating operating temperature and the cumulative value of operating years.
