To provide a device which has an improved pump characteristic at any of a high temperature discharge stage, a high temperature start stage, a normal temperature discharge stage and a normal temperature start stage, and which can reduce discharge loss caused by a general-purpose overpressure gas vent valve.
In a device for discharging fuel with the use of a fuel feed unit 2 located in a casing 1 in a fuel tank 3, the fuel feed unit 2 comprises a fuel pump for supplying fuel, a gas vent valve and a suction cover 6 located in the casing 1 while the fuel pump 4 has an impeller 9 located in an impeller casing 7 incorporating an annular passage 8. Further, the gas vent valve 10 is located in the suction cover 6 of the fuel feed unit 2, and is communicated with the annular passage 8 of the impeller casing 7 through a gas vent hole 11.
