To enable reversed flow of molten metal from a fixed molten metal furnace body to a molten metal storing furnace body and to keep the good quality of a cast product by arranging a supplying chamber communicated with a vacuum pump and a gas supplying device on a pipe mutually communicating the bottom surfaces of the molten metal storing furnace body and the fixed molten metal furnace body having each tapping hole freely openable/closable at the bottom surface.
In the case of reversely flowing the molten metal (m) from the fixed molten metal furnace body 2 to the molten metal storing furnace body 1, at the time of opening a second tapping hole 2a and also, closing a first tapping hole 1a, the molten metal (m) in the fixed molten metal furnace body 2 is reversely flowed into the supplying chamber 4 till reaching the molten metal furnace balanced with the surface of the molten metal (m) in the fixed molten metal furnace body 2 after the molten metal (m) in the fixed molten metal furnace body passes through the tapping hole 2a and the communicating pipe 3. Successively, when reducing the pressure in the supplying chamber 4 by working the vacuum pump 5, the molten metal (m) in the fixed molten metal furnace body 2 is forcedly and reversely flowed into the supplying chamber 4 till detecting with a molten metal surface detector 4a. Therein, in the case of supplying inert gas into the supplying chamber 4 with a gas supplying device 6 after closing the tapping hole 2a and opening the tapping hole 1a, the molten metal (m) in the supplying chamber 4 is reversely flowed into the molten metal storing furnace body 1.
