Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable support without loading the dead weight of a roll on a supporting shaft at the time of disassembling/assembling work, to prevent flaws on the inner periphery by the corner part at the end of the supporting shaft and to shorten working time in a device with which a back-up roll is divided and attached and detached from a roll supporting shaft.
CONSTITUTION: This device is constituted of a holding stand A, supporting truck B and roll transfer truck C. The holding stand is provided with a saddle 5 and a supporting block and with which the supporting shaft 4 is pushed into a shaft hole, the roll supporting shaft is fixed and a detached divided back-up roll assembly is held in cantilever. The supporting truck is provided with a saddle 15 of which the height can be adjusted with a screw jack 17, can be relatively moved without interfering with a roll 102 by lowering the saddle and the roll supporting shaft is horizontally supported by making the saddle with the height of the saddle 5. The roll is hung with a sling 30 and a crane and transferred. The roll transfer truck is provided with a saddle 25 which is energized with a spring 26 and of which the height can be adjusted with a jack 27 and the roll is supported and attached/detached by moving after aligning of the supporting shaft with the roll.
