PURPOSE: To prevent abnormal tension load and to draw out fabric under a proper tension by separately controlling revolving speed and torque of a driving motor for drawing out fabric after tentering and presetting the optimum torque amount.
CONSTITUTION: Continuous fabric is traveled and heat-treated by drying or heat setting while both salvages parts are being held by a pair of left and right tenter chains 2, a roll 3 for drawing out the fabric arranged at the pulling out side of the fabric is driven by an AC servo motor and the rotation speed and torque amount of the motor are independently controlled. The optimum torque amount corresponding to the kind of the fabric is set through a torque setter 8. When driving of the tenter chains 2 is started, the AC servo motor 10 follows the revolving speed of a tenter chain driving motor 4, drives the roll 3 for drawing out the fabric and pulls out the fabric under tension corresponding to the set torque 7 amount.
