PURPOSE: To obtain a drawing-up device for molten metal with simple structure and durability by arranging a check valve at the inlet of a molten metal suction part and pulsating air pressure in a molten metal suction chamber to draw up the molten metal.
CONSTITUTION: The molten metal suction part 8 is dipped into the molten metal 2 and feeding and suction of the air are repeated into the molten metal suction part 8 through a pipe 27, and when the molten metal suction part 8 comes to negative pressure, the check valve 13 is opened to draw up the molten metal. The molten metal is risen through a pipe 10, fed to molten metal pouring part 9 and discharged from an outlet 17. In the pipe 27, the pulsating air is fed from a reciprocating air cylinder. Period of this pulsation is different according to inner diameter, length, etc., of the molten metal introducing pipe 10, but this is suitable to be about 100 rpm. Further, as a bent molten metal flowing passage 15 forms flow of molten metal 2 downward at upper end of this molten metal introducing pipe 10, the descent of molten metal 2 in the pipe 10 is prevented and the drawing-up efficiency is improved.
