PURPOSE: To change a helical angle of a spiral motion by providing a sliding joint between displacement loops made of two members in a device for the drive of a tool spindle which performs a rotating indexing motion for the production of gear-wheels by a creation method.
CONSTITUTION: An oscillation lever 20. 1, a sliding turning joint 22. 1, and a displacement member 21. 1 form displacement loops made of two members. In this displacement loop, a reciprocating rotary motion of the oscillation lever 20. 1 is converted to a reciprocating motion in the axial direction of a worm shaft 17, but its amplitude relates to an interval between a shaft core of a rotary shaft 8 and a shaft core 25. 1 of the sliding joint 22. 1. A motion in the axial direction of this worm shaft 17 is transmitted to a worm gear 15 as a rotary motion through a worm 16 and then on a lower part 1. 2 of a tool spindle 1 as an additional rotary motion. A rotary motion generated for parent screws 13, 14 is superimposed on this additional rotary motion. That is, a rotary motion performed by the tool spindle 1 coincides with the rotation of the parent screws 13, 14 accurately.
