To provide a device for dropping a liquid, capable of accurately dropping a liquid in a minute amount without influenced by a centrifugal force generated by the rotation of a plunger.
The device 1 for dropping a liquid includes a rotatable and advanceable/retractable plunger rod 8, a valve 7, and a syringe 6. A syringe feed port 60 and a syringe discharge port 61 each comprised of a through hole extending in the direction of the rotation axis O of the plunger rod 8 are disposed on the bottom of the syringe 6. The valve 7 is linked to the plunger rod 8 in a manner only capable of rotating with the plunger rod 8. A valve feed port 70 and a valve discharge port 71 each comprised of a through hole extending in the direction of the rotation axis O are disposed on the bottom of the valve 7. The syringe feed port 60 and the valve feed port 70 as well as the syringe discharge port 61 and the valve discharge port 71 exclusively overlap each other respectively in accordance with the rotation of the plunger rod 8 to form a liquid supply flow path and a liquid discharge flow path each extending in the direction of the rotation axis O.
