Title:
DEVICE FOR ELECTRICALLY CONNECTING ROTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5457101
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the wear of a device for electrically connecting a rotor as compared with that employing a slip ring and a brush by rotating a plurality of metal balls between guide rings while bringing in contact with both the rings to energize the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A conductor 17 wound on a rotor 41 is connected at one end thereof through a hole 18 to a guide ring 14 and at the other thereof through a hole 18' to a guide ring 14'. An electric power supplied from terminals 10, 10 is supplied through guide rings 13, 13', metal balls 12, 12', and/guide rings 14, 14' to the conductor 17. The plural balls 12, 12' thus used are always inscribed and circumscribed with the rings 13, 14, respectively to thereby support the load beared on a shaft 1. Since the shaft 1 are brought into contact with the rings at plural contacting points even if it rotates at high speed, no electric signal is interrupted.
