A device for evaporating aromatic liquid comprises a container 50 reserved therein with aromatic liquid, a cover unit 55 having a cover body 56 for opening and closing an opening 50a of the container 50, a guide shaft 58 projected upward from the cover body 56, and a core projected downward therefrom, a druve means 69 for moving up and down the cover unit 55, and a blower 70 for generating an air stream from the air inlet 38 into the outlet 40, which are all provided in a evaporating casing 30 having an air inlet 30 and an air outlet 40. In this case, the evaporating casing 30 is formed in its side wall with an aperture 41 for allowing the container 50 and the cover unit 55 to be taken into and out therethrough, and a wall 85 is provided for opening and closing the aperture 41. Further, a support rack 86 for supporting the container 50 and a locking unit 88 for locking the guide shaft 58 of the cover unit 55 in such a way that the shaft 58 is vertically movable and rotatable, are provided in the upper and lower parts of the wall 85.
