Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for examining a shock absorber for easily accommodat ing various kinds of the shock absorbers having different size or shape for attaching without enlarging size of the device.
SOLUTION: The device for examining the shock absorber comprises a second fixed support member 67, a motor, reduction gears, a conversion means, an excitation part 59, and an evaluation control means. The second fixed support member 67 supports one side of the shock absorber Kb. The conversion means converts rotational movement to linear movement. The excitation part 59 linearly reciprocates by the conversion means and vibrates an another side of the shock absorber Kb. The evaluation control means evaluates performance of shock absorption of the shock absorber Kb based on displacement of the another side of the shock absorber Kb and a load applied to the shock absorber Kb. The excitation part 59 comprises bar-like guide parts 46, a second movable attaching member 60, a movable support member 62, and a holding means 66. The bar-like guide parts 46 are vertically extendedly installed. The second movable attaching member 60 is slidably attached along the guide parts 46. The movable support member 62 is detachably attached to the second movable attaching member 60 and supports the another side of the shock absorber Kb. The holding means 66 holds the second movable attaching member 60 at certain height.
