Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for executing skew rolling of tube-shaped or bar-shaped rolling stock.
SOLUTION: In order to feed a rolling stock, a roll 2, whose roll axis 4 is, seen in the direction of longitudinal axis 3 of the rolling stock, inclined to the plane elongatedly located by the side of and in parallel with a longitudinal axis of the rolling stock at an distance E in the radial direction, is constituted so as to be driven through each individual driving wheel equipped with a bevel gear with a skew axis which is, by means of a sun wheel, engaged with the sun wheel and surrounds respective roll axes.
