PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for efficiently extracting and refining molybdenum-99.SOLUTION: There is provided a device comprising: means of transferring an irradiation-finished fuel solution including iodine, molybdenum and the other nuclear fission products to an extraction system including at least one adsorbent column; means of upwardly going the irradiation-finished fuel solution through at least one adsorbent-containing extraction column; means of orienting the irradiation-finished fuel solution with at least one exhaust alignment valve to a fuel management system; means of orienting the extraction column solution to an iodine removal system; means of removing the iodine from the extraction column solution; and means of refining the extraction column solution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
