Abstract:
PURPOSE: To execute work feeding at high speed by forwarding and backwarding, pivotally moving and vertically moving plural fingers which are arranged side by side at intervals equal to the intervals between a feeding part, machining part and ejecting part and making the pivotally attaching point into coincide with the centroid of the fingers and forwarding/backwarding means.
CONSTITUTION: A work is dropped from guide rails 14 and stopped in the work feeding part 15. The work is clamped with the fingers 10 in extended positions. An assembly including the fingers 10, forwarding/backwarding actuators 30 and pivotal movement actuators 45, etc., is elevated with an elevating/lowering actuator 60 and the work is separated from the feeding part 15. The fingers 10 for clamping the work are pivotally moved to the right side, elevated, lowered after moving forward and sent to the next die 13 with the forwarding/ backwarding actuators 30. By sequence control, prescribed machining is applied to the work, successively, the work is sent to the die 13 and, lastly, ejected in the ejecting part 16. Since the work is cross-fed simultaneously by pivotal motion, the work can be cross-fed at high speed.
