PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously feed a fixed quantity of molten metal with high accuracy by combining a gas supplying/exhausting means to a suction tank, an intermediate tank and a molten metal feeding means or the intermediate tank and the molten metal feeding tank in a charging type device for feeding the molten metal repeating the molten metal suction and the molten metal feeding while changing over the pressure of the gas.
SOLUTION: A partition plate 4 is arranged to the inside at the lower part of a bottomed cylindrical outer vessel 3, and the suction tank 5 is constituted of a bottom plate 3a, the side wall of the outer vessel 3 and this partition plate 4. The upper end of the outer vessel 3 is closed with a cover plate 6, and a molten metal supplying pipe 7 is stood while penetrating the partition plate 5 and the lower end thereof is approached to the bottom plate 3a and opened. The intermediate tank 9 with an inner partition cylinder 8 at a prescribed interval at the outside in the upper part of the molten metal supplying pipe 7, the cover plate 6 and an outer partition cylinder 10, and the molten metal feeding tank 11 with the outer partition cylinder 10 and the inner wall of the outer vessel 3, are constituted. A molten metal feeding passage 12 is attached to the inner wall of this outer vessel 3 and the base end of a molten metal feeding pipe 13 is connected with the upper end side of this passage, and the tip part of the molten metal feeding pipe 13 is faced to a molten metal receiving device and gas pipe 16, 17, 18 for pressurizing is connected and opened with the upper part of each of the suction tank, intermediate tank and molten metal feeding tank 5, 9, 11, respectively.
