A gear feed pump 60 is arranged with shifted in a direction of rotation axes 42, 45 of gears 41, 43 of a first gear feed pump 30. The gear feed pump 60 includes a pair of gears 64, 68 meshing each other in a pump chamber 62. A gear 64 of another gear feed pump 60 can be connected to a drive shaft 38 through a connecting device 66 in such a manner that the gear 64 can not rotate relatively to the drive shaft 38. The connecting device 66 is controlled by pressure at a pressure side 49 of the first gear feed pump 30. Namely, it is controlled so as to connect the gear 64 of the gear feed pump 60 to the drive shaft in such a manner that the gear 64 can not rotate relatively to the drive shaft 38 when the pressure is low and to separate the gear 64 from the drive shaft 38 when the pressure is high.
