To provide a device for feeding a material of the fixed length capable of accurately positioning the material with respect to a continuously machining device and feeding the material thereto by a simple operation.

The device for feeding the material of the fixed length comprises a material moving passage for pulling in a material 2 which is manually pulled out of a material feeder 4 by a worker and feeding it to a forward feeding die 6, a setting means 16 for setting the feed amount of the material 2, a measuring mechanism 32 for measuring the movement of the material 2, a control unit 12 for outputting the detection signal when measuring the movement up to the set value, a material locking mechanism 33 which is driven based on the detection signal to stop the material, and display units 17, 18 for displaying the set value and the measured value.
