Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the stability of an arc and weldability by preventing the generation of chips of a welding wire.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with a feed roller 1 and a pressurizing roller which is arranged in proximity to this feed roller 1 and constituted so that a welding wire 21 is fed by rotating the feed roller 1 in a state where the welding wire 21 is put between the groove 2 of the feed roller 1 and the pressurizing roller and pressurized. The feed roller 1 has the groove 2 in which the welding wire 21 is put on its outer peripheral surface, a circular-arc part 3 which consists of a concave curved surface of a radius R2 of 1.01-3 times the radius R1 of the welding wire 21 is provided on the bottom of the groove 2 and the depth d1 of the groove 2 is taken as <2 times the radius R1 of the welding wire 21. In this way, the welding wire 21 is always pressurized in a state where the wire is brought into contact with the bottom of the groove 2 of the feed roller 1, so the surface of the welding wire 21 is not scratched and the generation of the chips of the welding wire 21 is prevented.
