To provide a wire rod feeding device with which the feeding and stopping of the wire rod can be quickly changed and the stopping of a motor caused by overload can be prevented.
Since a plurality of feeding mechanism parts 20A are driven with a plurality of feeding motors 45 in this device, the responsiveness to an operation command is improved because each feeding motor 45 is minimized as compared with the case where the device is driven with one feeding motor and the feeding and the stopping of the wire rod can be quickly changed. Even when the load is varied among the plurality of feeding mechanism parts 20A, the load is composed by only one torque transmitting part 49 provided between a linked feeding mechanism part group 20G and a linked feeding motor group 45G and the load is imparted to the whole of the linked feeding mechanism part group 20G. Then, the load in the whole of the linked feeding mechanism part group 20G is dispersed to the plurality of feeding motors 45 and the stopping of the motor caused by the overload is prevented.
