Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically fit a sleeve corresponding to a V-type engine and a series engine with a single device by arranging a third insert unit integrally advanced/retreated with a second insert unit and also, advancing a sleeve from the second insert unit in a second insert mechanism.
SOLUTION: The second insert mechanism 20 is provided with the second insert unit 74 possible to advance/retreat to/from a wrist part 30 and the third insert unit 86 integrally advanced/retreated with this unit 74 and also, advancing the sleeve 16 from the unit 74 to a die 42 side. In this way, the constitution of the whole body of the second insert mechanism 20 is effectively simplified and compacted. Further, since the fitting/removing of the second insert mechanism 20 can be executed only by fitting a bracket 70 to a fitting plate 62a and also, screwing the plate 72 into the bracket 70, this fitting/removing work is easily executed in a short time.
