Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved device for fixing a mounting member such as a footstep or a sill cover to a body structure of an automobile.
SOLUTION: This device is used for selectively mounting the footstep 2 or the sill cover 3 on a frame edge-shaped hold molding 4 connected to a car body. This hold molding 4 is connected to the footstep 2 or the sill cover 3 through longitudinal edge parts of corresponding recessed and projecting moldings on the footstep 2, and the hold molding 4 or the sill cover 3. Accordingly the footstep 2 and the sill cover 3 can be selectively connected to the hold molding 4 by a simple method.
