PURPOSE: To arrange rapidly bottles on a plurality of tiers without fear of incorrect arrangement or tumbling of bottles by using a carrying board, and by providing tiers-separating means and pushing means.

CONSTITUTION: Bottles are distributed in a form of rows of a plurality of paths 4 on a carrying board 8 by a distributing device 6. Individual tiers L are separated from formed rows of the bottles by tier forming means 3.1, 3.2. The rows of the bottles are pushed together by a horizontally pushing device 2 so that a space between each row can be eliminated and the bottles can be contacted mutually without any space. A carry-over edging material 1 is arranged on the end edge of the carrying board 8 for the tiers L of the bottles. The container has the same outline as the outline of the front side filled with formed tiers L of the bottles in the direction crossing at right angles with a carrying direction.
