To provide a device for forming a sliver having a high quality concerning a uniformity and capable of keeping a continuous coiling of the sliver by regulating the second drafting device by a controller for compensating the short-wave deviation of the fiber amount.
A sliver 8 supplied to a drafting device 10 is drafted by pairs of rollers 11, 12 and 14 and a fiber fleece sent out from the pairs of rollers 11, 12 and 14 is supplied to the second drafting device 40 through a measuring member 32. A driving part of the drafting device 40 is regulated by a controller 35 connected by a servo motor 50 and a differential gear device 48, which are installed in addition to a controller 35 for compensating a deviation of a fiber amount, a servo motor 52 and a differential gear device 21, for compensating the short-wave deviation of the fiber amount.
