Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to utilize high frequencies, to facilitate installation and change the searching direction of a detecting element freely by sliding a hollow semispherical frame and a filled semispherical body so that the inner and outer surfaces of the mutual spherical bodies are in close contact.
CONSTITUTION: An attaching recess part 7 is made in the front surface of a working face 6. A hollow semispherical frame 1 is coupled into the recess part 7 through cement mortar and provided in the close contact state with the working face 6. Then, a filled semispherical body 2, in which an elastic-wave detecting element 3 is mounted, is coupled into the hollow semispherical frame 1. A flat surface 1 is pushed with a hand. The inner and outer surfaces of the mutual semispherical bodies are brought into close contact and slid. The direction of the elastic-wave detecting element 3 is freely changed. The elastic wave is sent and received between the front natural grounds, and the specified elastic wave detection is performed. At this time, the elastic-wave detecting element 3, the filled semispherical body 2, the hollow semispherical frame 1 and the working face 6 maintain the close contact state one another. Therefore, the elastic wave, which is sent and received, is not attenuated.
