PURPOSE: To treat easily a film with a simple construction by constituting a titled device in such a way that the film having a fold, etc. is unwound to a spool while the outside thereof is retained and such film is taken up by the energiging force of a spring and is housed successively into a cartridge, etc.

CONSTITUTION: A film F which cannot be straightly fed to an ordinary developing stage on account of a fold, etc. arising in part of the film F is required to be removed by taking up the same on a spool 34. A rotary solenoid is driven in such a case to press nib rollers 74, 76 to the film F wound on the outside peripheral of the spool 34 and at the same time a driven roller 40 is detached from a driving roller 38. The rollers 74, 76 are then simultaneously driven by a motor so that the film F is taken up on the outside peripheral of the spool 34. A gripping plate 106 takes up the film F wound on the spool 34 by the elastic force thereof and houses successively the same into a cartridge case 116. The film treatment is thus made easy by such construction.
