Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which has expansion elements to protect a vehicle from a shock, and in which the performance of the expansion elements can be optimized.
SOLUTION: This device has expansion elements (..., n-1, n, n+1,...; k-1, k, k+1,...) to protect a vehicle from a shock. The expansion elements are arranged side by side, so that, once they are expanded, they can form the nearly same whole shape as the whole shape of the range of the vehicle to be protected, and also the expansion elements have a whole shape in which they (n; k) can be piled up respectively in the lateral direction with two directly adjacent expansion elements (n-1, n+1; k-1, k+1).
