Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a heat developing device in which adhesion property between a heat developable photosensitive material and a heat roller is maintained during heat development and irregular development or scratches on a picture surface can be prevented.
CONSTITUTION: A guide plate 44 of a heat roller 24 is energized to be in contact with the surface of the heat roller 24 by the elastic force of the plate 44 itself. Thereby, a photosensitive material 20 is passed while being pressed to the heat roller 24. Since the emulsion plane of the photosensitive material 20 directly touches the plate 44, such a plate material is suitable that is not hydrophilic, causes no sticking of the photosensitive material, and has proper rough surface but does not scratch the emulsion. For example, a glass fiber fabric coated with PTFE has a surface with periodic ruggedness with ≤3mm pitch. Since this plate material is not hydrophilic, it is good enough as the guide plate for the photosensitive material 20, and further, the plate has fine ruggedness, it is preferable not to scratch of the emulsion.
