To provide a device for heating keratin fibers, and a corresponding method and a corresponding kit.
The method used for treating keratin fibers includes the following stages: a stage of applying tension to the keratin fibers; a stage of applying a reducing composition to the keratin fibers in order to reduce the disulfide bond of keratin; a stage of heating the keratin fibers by exposing the keratin fibers to infrared radiation light including light with a wavelength in a wavelength region of 700-1,400 nm, possibly after a rinse operation; and a stage of oxidizing and fixing the keratin fibers by applying an oxidizing composition in order to regenerate the disulfide bond. A heating device of the keratin fibers for practicing the method and a kit which includes the heating device of the keratin fibers and a treatment composition of the keratin fibers, are also provided.
