Abstract:
To provide a rolling mill with which the simple and sure holding, mounting and dismounting for the rolls of a rolling mill are made possible.
This device has two holding devices 12, 13, 14, 15 which are arranged on the opposed end faces of the rolls 2, 3 as seen from the direction of the axial line of rotation and at least two clutch devices 6, 7, 8, 9 including respectively one connected state and one disconnected state. In the state where respective clutch devices are connected, joining for transmitting torque between the rolls and respective holding devices is generated and, in the state where the clutch devices are disconnected, the rolls can be dismounted from the holding devices.
