Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for holding a billet while maintaining the conditions required for the billet.
SOLUTION: This holding device is for induction heating of the billet of an alloy having thixotropic property and for holding and transferring this billet to a casting stage. The holding device is formed to a tray shape and the tray 1 has a body 2 of the shape of a tab and walls 3 existing at both ends and at least the body 2 consists of a high melting metal, for example, steel.
