To provide a device for horizontally supporting a mast including an earthquake resistant mechanism capable of preventing collapse of a tower crane in a big earthquake with a relatively simple mechanism obtained by improving only the structure of a support member connecting the tower crane to a structure and capable of quickly restoring the tower crane to the original position by absorbing vibration of the tower crane in operation.
The device 10 for horizontally supporting a mast with an earthquake resistant mechanism includes: a support girder 11 supporting a mast 2 of a tower crane 1A freely to move in the vertical direction; a layered rubber 12; and a damper 13. The support girder 11 is structured of a girder material frame part 11a surrounding the mast 2 and a pair of girder material projecting parts 11b integrally projected from the girder material frame part 11a toward a beam 30 of the structure. The layered rubber 12 is arranged by vertically directing a shaft between the tip of the girder material projecting part 11b on the beam 30 side and the beam 30, and an upper and a lower fitting plates of the layered rubber 12 are fixed to a lower surface of the girder material projecting part 11b and an upper surface of the beam 30, respectively. The damper 13 as a damping element is stretched between a corner part of the girder material frame part 11b and a column 31.
