Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce times required for calculating dose distributions, by resolving calculation expressions into pieces having the same component and performing calculations in parallel, when calculations on does distributions which require repeated operations are made. CONSTITUTION:This device has an exclusive digital computer 1 which controls inputs of an inputting device 2 which sets parameters as continuous amounts of time, an exclusive high-speed arithmetic device 3 which calculates at high speed and in parallel absorbed doses at each coordinate in an area to be radiated based on the parameter set by the inputting device 2 after the calculation expressions are resolved and then, classifies them into types of isodose curves, and a picture displaying device 5 which stores and displays isodose curves as pictures separately by level groups of the isodose curve. This device circularly and repeatedly calculates dose distributions and, when a parameter is changed, it is immediately reflected on the dose distribution display.
