To provide a device including a means for storing the depression of an improved start key button to solve an in convenience that a microprocessor can operate only after an initialization phase which continues for about several seconds.

The proposed device is provided with a microprocessor 26 including a start key button for generating a start signal when it is depressed. When the microprocessor 26 of the device is in an initialization phase, it cannot be operated. A start signal generated by depressing the start key button 25 is stored in a storage circuit. The microprocessor 26 reads out the stored start signal after the end of initialization phase. An application area of the device includes a telephone and a business automation mobile object.
