Abstract:
To provide a method for safely backup restoring to prevent setup information (including secret information) of a device from illegally leaking.
A public key of a restoring device is first transmitted to a backup device from a server to thus request acquisition of information, the backup device encrypts the information using the public key and transmits the information to the server, and the server backs up the encrypted information. Then, the server transmits the encrypted information to the restoring device thus to request a setup of the information, and the restoring device decrypts the encrypted information using its own secret key for a setup.
