Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent slip of foil yarn by providing the top of a flat rail into a shed so as to freely pass through and carrying out reciprocating motion by operation independent from reciprocating motion of spatula for induction of foil yarn and inserting foil yarn into a shed.
CONSTITUTION: The top 5a of spatula 5 passing into a shed 3 of weft and reciprocating is passed through the shed from either one inlet of the shed by outward motion and on the other hand, one end of foil yarn 4 is induced and inserted into the shed on a flat rail 6 in the shed when picking spatula returns and after the foil yarn is inserted into the shed, the flat rail is pulled out of the shed. Thereby foil yarn having unevenness is inserted into the shed.
